When you’re out at sea, safety is everything, and that includes wearing PaddleYak’s “Buddie”; a purpose-designed sea kayaking utility jacket.

• It features a useful pouch in front for emergency gear and essential crotch straps for added security when you end up in the water.
• The jacket is adjustable in six places and fits most adults.
• The jacket has been developed over a period of fifteen years.
• It is designed to carry essential items and may be worn by itself, or under approved and suitable PFD’s or life-jackets, where the latter are available, or required by law.
• In the construction we have used the best materials available locally, including UV-resistant, acrylic canvas.

If you want a standard registered PFD, it is available at R1050 in S/M/L and XL.

*A PFD is a personal flotation device, designed to keep a conscious person afloat and to assist with buoyancy in the water. PFDs are ranked by flotation levels in types 1 -3.
